‘A Street Party Named Fitz’ is the first thing on everybody’s lips!

The Old Fitz has announced ‘A Streetparty Named Fitz’ its first ever summer street party taking place on Sunday 11 February from 12pm-7pm in support of the independent Old Fitzroy Theatre. The event will raise much needed funds for the Theatre  and will feature live music and performances from the likes of Murray Cook’s Soul Movers, live performances courtesy of The Old Fitz Theatre, DJ Aunty Jonny on the decks, festive food and drinks, and good times.

With pop up street-side bars serving Australiana inspired cocktails from local and award winning bartenders and support from local spirits partner, Four Pillars Gin you’ll be sure to find the right drink!

To soak it up, Odd Culture Groups (OCG) Executive Chef, James MacDonald, will have the Dowling Street cul-de-sac up in smokes with the Streetcar Named Desire showcasing the Fitz version of a classic Cajun cookout, slowly smoked meats and veggies and one of Louisiana’s greatest – Jambalaya! Make sure you finish off the day with Mapo Gelato’s Mapo Bus to cleanse that palate

Entry is FREE! guests are encouraged to register interest in attending here.

If you can’t make it or you’re feeling extra supportive of the arts, you can make donations here https://www.oldfitztheatre.com.au/donations
