ABBA Returns After Near Four Decade Hiatus
The Swedish group ABBA is making music again, after a four-decade hiatus, announcing plans for the release of a full album, Voyage, in November and a new virtual concert which will feature the band-members carefully ‘de-aged’ using CGI technology.
ABBA’s new album has surpassed 80,000 pre-orders in the UK within just three days — Universal Music UK’s biggest ever album pre-order demand.
The two new tracks, I Still Have Faith In You and Don’t Shut Me Down have already reached the number one spot’s on iTunes in the UK, Australia and Germany, as well as making huge impacts on the Spotify Daily Top 200 chart.
