The ABC’s Managing Director Michelle Guthrie has announced a restructure of the organisation which she described as the “next phase of it’s evolution as a national broadcaster”. The changes will see platform-based management structures ditched to make way for content-based units and the creation of a ‘content ideas lab’.
Associate Professor in Journalism at Monash University Margaret Simons is currently writing a book on the recent history of the ABC and she joined us on The Daily.
