‘Ablaze’ Exploring First Nation Communities and Culture
Fewer than 200 First Nation languages remain in use today, and all but 20 are highly endangered. So documenting and preserving the diverse cultures, languages and histories of indigenous Australia is crucial. Ablaze is a film that explores the importance of First Nations cultures and communities. We were joined by Alec Morgan co-director of the film ‘Ablaze’, and Research Fellow in the department of media, music, communications and cultural studies at Macquarie University.
