The Federal Government’s proposed cash ban is currently underway in a senate inquiry where the bill is being debated. On the one hand, many are against it in the fear of giving away abundant control to banks while others believe that it will help fight money laundering and the black economy. We had Associate Professor Mark Humphery-Jenner from the School of Banking and Finance at the University of New South Wales to talk to us in detail about the proposed bill.
