Today on the Thursday Daily, we’re talking cultural hubs and community building!
We’ve all heard the saying that you have to “be the change that you want to see in the world”. Well at the Addison Road Community Organisation in Marrickville, there’s a team working very hard at being that change, providing food relief as well as organising charity and arts initiatives that strive towards a culturally diverse and sustainable community.
We were joined by Amal Dib, a youth coordinator from Addison Road Community Centre, to tell us a bit more about how this block of land is being used as a force for good.
