Addressing Climate Change in Australian Classrooms
As the spotlight on climate change intensifies, communities world-wide are increasingly concerned of its impact, particularly younger generations, with the 2022 Mission Australia Youth Survey showing the top concern of young Australians is the environment.
This comes as research reveals today’s children also face up to seven times as many extreme weather events as their grandparents.
With education remaining key in tackling existential issues, parents and academics have been calling for greater focus on climate change in school learning.
