Aged Care Commission Uncovers Serious Concerns
The royal commission into aged care is continuing in Adelaide today. The commission has already heard reports of extreme malnutrition, staff assaults and extended waiting times for aged care residents. Today the commission will hear from physicians and aged care nurses. There will be a further five days of hearings in Adelaide before the commission moves on to other cities. To talk further about some of the concerns raised so far, the Daily was joined by CEO of the Older Persons Advocacy Network, Craig Gear.
