Aged care residents celebrate winning battle
Residents of the former Feros aged care village in Byron Bay are getting ready to move back in, after winning a long-winded legal battle.
Around eighty people gathered in Byron’s Marvel Hall last week to celebrate the village being kept for its original intended purpose as an aged care facility.
St Andrews has taken over as the new provider and is upgrading the facilities for the benefit of the residents.
