Today is the First Ageism Awareness Day in Australia, and its aim is to open a conversation about age discrimination in the workplace.

EveryAge Counts released a report today about how ageism affects in the workplace, and it found out just 1 in 5 Australians over 50 took action in response.

While most of the participants know what ageism is, most of them do not know how to respond to the issue.
