AGNSW’s Inaugural Volume Festival with Jonathan Wilson

The Art Gallery of New South Wales’ first ever Volume Festival will kick off on Friday, the 22nd of September. Over 17 days, performances and presentations by musicians, sound artists, filmmakers and performers from all over the world will take place in the North and South buildings. Among the 86 musicians are Sampa The Great, Mindy Meng Wang 王萌, Naretha Williams, Marcus Whale, D.C Cross, Kim Moyes, Black Belt Eagle Scout, and headliner Solange. We had the Art Gallery’s Music and Community Curator Jonathan Wilson, who has put together the staggering line-up, here on 2SER Breakfast to tell us about the inaugural festival of sound and vision.

The Volume festival has a mix of ticketed and free events between the 22nd of September and the 8th of October – you can head to volume.sydney to see the full line-up.
