While on away on holiday have you ever used Airbnb to get yourself a nice cheap apartment in a city like Barcelona or London? Well you may be surprised to know that Airbnb is starting to affect the Sydney housing market for the same reasons you look for a cheap room while on holidays. Earlier Monica Samayoa spoke with Professor of Urban Science UNSW, Associate Director City Futures and Director of Smart Cities,  Chris Pettit, on the recent data the Urban Housing Lab at the University of Sydney found on how Airbnb is drying up the supply of rental homes in Sydney.
