When most people think of cabaret, it’s usually a performer, in a small room, reciting song and dance that is usually fun and self servant. However, in cabaret, there aren’t many rules as to what you can do and talk about. Although it does rely high energy, some songs, humour and a little splash of the uncomfortable truth.
Tim Hansen’s newest cabaret show at Bondi Feast is ‘Airlock: Nihilistic Cabaret’ examines what would happen if the end of the world looms and who we think is important enough to save in a top secret bunker; an oh boy do they have jacked up ego’s.
