Alcohol drinking is on the decline

For all the talk and worry about underage drinking and Australia’s damaging drinking culture, it seems that rates of alcohol intake are actually dropping among younger Australians.

A recent study has revealed the proportion of adolescents reporting drinking in the past month has fallen twenty percent in sixteen years. The Daily’s Sam Baran caught up with Michael Livingston from the Center for Alcohol Policy Research at La Trobe University.
