Are Alcohol Ad Regulations Effective?

A legislative crackdown on alcohol industry marketing to young people and a ban on alcohol companies sponsoring sports teams. These are just some of the recommendations contained in a new report that looks into how effective alcohol advertising regulation is in Australia. 

The report’s author Dr Belinda Reeve – a lecturer in Health Law at the University of Sydney – joined Jess on Weekend Breakfast to talk through her findings and ideas.
