Celebrating Australian Cinema on Brollie with Alexei Toliopoulos

Coming to Australia on Thursday 23rd November, is Brollie, a brand-new streaming platform specialising in Australian Film and TV content that’s free for users, giving Aussies access to Umbrella Entertainment’s unrivalled treasure trove of content. Think a young Hugh Jackman in cult classic Erskineville Kings or Kylie Minogue in the 2000 film Cut, alongside gems from the Ozploitation era, documentaries and a section for Indigenous Australia, including a collection of films starring Aboriginal screen legend David Gulpilil.

Brollie will also launch a brand-new podcast called Sunburnt Screens: The Australian Cinema Odyssey, hosted by pop culture and film authority Alexei Toliopoulos where he chats to some of Australia’s most celebrated filmmakers such as Rolf de Heer and Gillian Armstrong. Alexei was on Drive with Jono to chat all things Brollie.
