All About Women Line Up

It’s been over a year since the #MeToo movement began and discussions around gender and equality are being explored more and more. The annual All About Women event will be happening on 10 March 2019 and is a day that takes a deep dive into these topics and more through panels, talks, workshops and live podcasts particularly from new and emerging voices. The line up for 2019 has just been announced and includes Clementine Ford and Osher Gunsburg on the ‘Man Up’ panel, a look at the second year of #MeToo with Pulitzer prize winning journalist Emily Steel and author Sohaila Abdulli and what happens if you are a feminist but love problematic music? Journalist Joan Morgan explores this in her talk ‘Women in Hip Hop’, just to name a few. Fleur Mitchell, the Sydney Opera House’s Senior Producer for Talks and Ideas, joined Tess on the show to talk about the event and how this year the focus is on more diverse voices to discuss these various feminist issues, exploring toxic masculinity and feminism in other parts of the world. The full line up can be found here.
