All Quiet on the Regional Front
The digital revolution has cost lots of regional news outlets their source of income, and in turn cost regional areas their news outlets. COVID-19 is just another stress on an already strained sector. How are regional areas accessing their news, or indeed, functioning without it? Will the already sidelined voices of regional citizens be further silenced? UTS’s Centre for Media Transition has compiled a report, used by the ACCC, on how regional outlets are moving forward.
