Altspc: an online space sharing start-up

Ever looked into a closed shop-front window and thought, what a waste of space? Well it doesn’t need to be a waste anymore, thanks to some innovative Sydneysiders who have come up with a functional solution.

It’s called Altspc and it’s the idea that businesses can rent out their unused space to people who will actually use it. It can be spaces as small as a barber’s chair in a salon, to a warehouse. This solution will help small businesses, removing some of their financial strain. Nic was joined by Victoria Hempstead and Tim Elwin, the co-founders of the online space sharing platform to discuss their idea.

Altspc will be holding an open day at Young Henry’s tomorrow, Tuesday 15th August from 10am – 6pm. Register for free here.
