Ageing Population Sees Decline in Care

The Australian Medical Association has released its nationwide Aged Care Survey Report which found that at least 1 in 3 doctors plan to cut back or completely end their visits to Residential Aged Care patients over the next 2 years. In the context of Australia’s ageing population, with the number of older Australians aged 65 and over projected to make up around 8.7 million of the population by the year 2056, the results of this report don’t look too good.
