An Interview with Meteor Infant
Meteor Infant is the musical alias of Gomeroi man Liam Keenan. Recently, Liam signed to Broth Records, the new label started by ex-Gang of Youths guitarist Joji Malang.
His first single with Broth is ‘Scarecrow‘. The record’s inspiration is long country drives across Kamilaroi country, as well as the wide open skies of the New England area.
Liam joined Toby on Thursday Daily to talk about lockdown and how it affects his writing. He also talked about his relationship to country and how it influences his music. On top of that, he also spoke about NAIDOC Week and previewed the status of his forthcoming EP.
