An Oscar Wilde classic on the Northern Beaches – The Importance of Being Ernest

This Oscar Wilde classic utilises his famous Irish wit to poke fun at the English aristocracy; The Importance of Being Ernest has opened on Sydney’s Northern Beaches.

Madeleine Boyle (plays Cecily Cardew) joined Jarred on Breakfast to discuss the production and why often art-stricken areas around Sydney, like the Northern Beaches, deserve stage productions in their backyard.

The Importance of Being Earnest runs Thurs, Friday and Saturday nights March 31st-April 9  at Lecceto Theatre in the Round,  at St Augustine’s College, Brookvale.
