Off the coast of Goolboodi Queensland, scientists have discovered a coral believed to be over 400 years old, making it the oldest coral found in the Great Barrier Reef.
Named Muga Dhambi, meaning ‘Big Coral’ by the traditional custodians of Manbarra, this coral may hold secrets that could reveal the health of the Great Barrier Reef and the future of our coral systems.
