Do you know what you’re eating? As the UN general assembly meets to strategize against antibiotic resistance, experts are turning their attention to the food industry.
With allegations of global antibiotic use in meat, the lack of transparency about Australia’s own use is becoming a concern. It’s thought that misuse of antibiotics could be undermining efforts to stop superbugs spreading through our food.
Dr Peter Fisher from RMIT University joined Sam Baran to discuss the topic further.
