Anurag Kashrap’s new film “Kennedy”

A new film from the maker of The Gangs of Wasseypur continues the exploration into India’s underbelly, this time offering us a portrait of a former corrupt cop involved in politically motivated killings and kidnappings. The film Kennedy provides a depiction of Mumbai elite society set during the time of CoVid, offer a depiction vastly at odds with your traditional Bollywood fare. Stephen Hill talked to director Anurag Kashrap to talk about his film Kennedy which was screened at the Sydney Film Festival.
