CARVE

Any Similarity To Any Person Living Or Dead Is Merely Coincidental, is a collaborative exhibition by Sydney-based artists Dominic Byrne, Leila El Rayes, Hana Hoogedeure, Kristina Savic, and Matthew Varnay, that explores the recent histories of the online platform.

The exhibition, held at Firstdraft, utilises multiple modes of viewing and creating content that renders the body as trivial, hyperreal and under constant surveillance. The characters that exist within these environments interact with other strange objects and multiple players.

Sophie Ly chats to Kristina Savic about the approach to filming the project and the inspiration for the content.
