School subjects are something that we don’t often think about, and they are taught in pretty much the same way each year. There are certainly a lot of memes online that hint at what skills schools set students up with for the real world. But are these skills the right ones? Are schools accurately preparing kids for the real world? Our producer Ben Tomkins caught up with Kate Moore – Deputy Head of Jr School Kambala, to get her insights on this aspect of our school system.
