The NSW drought is crippling farming communities west of the divide, but is the city about to feel the pinch?

With 100 per cent of the State now either in drought or drought-affected, how is the Big Dry impacting Sydney’s water supplies? 

Tess was joined by former Sydney Water scientist Dr Ian Wright, Senior Lecturer from the School of Science and Health at Western Sydney University.  Whilst restrictions haven’t come into effect yet, Dr Wright thinks Sydney-siders should start conserving water now with a dry Spring and Summer ahead.
