Ibibio Sound Machine is a clash of African and electronic elements inspired in equal measure by the golden era of West-African funk, disco, modern post-punk and electro.

Led by singer Eno Williams and multi-instrumentalist Max Grunhard, Ibibio Sound Machine were in town recently to perform at WOMADelaide and Eno and Max dropped by the 2SER Breakfast studios to chat about their forthcoming album, Pull the Rope, which promises to be their most urgent, enchanting collection to date, the extended WOMAD family and the importance of holding on to those old 45 records.
