Around Town 9th – 10th October
The countdown is on until lockdown is officially over. This weekend is looking like it’ll be the last weekend of lockdown before restrictions ease on Monday. To keep your excitement up, we have some final online events to share with you to keep yourself entertained this weekend.
MAY SPACE ONLINE launched a new online exhibition this week with Sydney-based photographer Janet Tavener. The new exhibit is titled Amphibious Assault and reflects Tavener’s interest in consumption and how humans can be a detriment to our environment.
The Museum of Futures invites you to time travel to 2050 — as their virtual exhibitions explore how our lives will change over the next thirty years.
Definitely one of the best things to do this weekend actually kicks off today, and that is Binge the Fringe. Binge the Fringe is an online selection of only the best quirky shows from the Sydney and Melbourne Fringe Festivals. It is launching thanks to the Riverside Theatres Digital.
For further information and booking for these events, head over to the City of Sydney website. Have a look through their “What’s On” guide for more. Thank you to our folks at the City of Sydney for sponsoring this segment.
