Around Town Long Weekend Edition
It was a Long Weekend Special of Around Town this week, with plenty on offer over the 3 day break in Sydney.
Dashville Skyline is on all three days of the weekend in the Hunter. It’s a camping music festival celebrating the roots of Americana, psychedelia and alt-country music from the greats of the ’60s through to the rising stars of today.
For the Homebodies, there’s the Sydney Architecture Festival. Starting tomorrow and running through the long weekend, see the city with fresh eyes. This year the focus is on Western Sydney with a hub in Parramatta and the unveiling of a contemporary mosque in Punchbowl.
Sunday is Ribfest at the Bank. There’ll be ribs, beer and even the bank’s signature vegan ribs. There’s comps and prizes, and a whole lot of fun. It’s on from Midday at the Bank in Newtown on the 1st of October.
CoLabs kicks off on Friday. It’s a big mix of art and science outdoors at Bungarribee Park in Western Sydney — on until the 8th of October.
Keep a look out for all the other great stuff happening in Sydney over the glorious long weekend.
