Art About Town – No Use Crying Over Ripped Lace

Ivy League, Coco Jumbo and Vybe are the real life protagonists inspiring Sydney artist Todd Fuller’s exhibition, No Use Crying Over Ripped Lace. In 2017, the three drag queens put down their post performance kebabs and intervened in a gay-bashing, saving the life of Ivan Finn.

Through animation and stills commissioned by the State Library, Todd’s exhibition revisits the momentous night.

No Use Crying Over Ripped Lace can be viewed at M.Contemporary as part of WorldPride 2023 Amplified.
