Art About Town – Sound Colour
The paintings are literally embedded with music.
Sound Colour is a collaboration between artists Marisa Purcell (painter), Julian Meagher (painter) and Max Lyandvert (composer). Marisa and Julian painted two large scale works each and in response, Max composed a three and a half minute piece of music. Max joined 2ser to discuss how the show came together and the process of using the canvases to carry the music.
Sound Colour is at Woollahra Gallery until 5th of February 2023.
