Artful: Art and Dementia at the MCA

Most of us will know somebody who has been affected in some way by dementia, which currently stands as the most common cause of disability in people over 65. Professor Sharon Naismith, who is the Head of the Healthy Brain Ageing Program at Sydney University, has been undertaking some very exciting research into the link between artistic practice and improved cognitive ability in her patients with dementia.
