Assange’s Father Receives Key to Mexico City
Mexico City has joined in the support for Julian Assange, who is still in detention following the dogged attempts of the US legal team to extradite him from the UK.
Julian Assange’s father John Shipton has been invited to receive the Keys to Mexico City, along with assurances from Mexican President Obrador in writing and in representations to the US Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
Shipton has said it was a great honour.
