Attack on Brussels
We’re all waking up to the news that IS has claimed responsibility for the attacks on Brussels which has killed over 30 people and injured hundreds more. This comes only days after the arrest of Salah Abdeslam, last remaining suspect of the Paris terrorist attack, who had warned of more terror. This raises many questions on how was Abdeslam able to hide from the authorities for so long and if it is even possible to prevent an event like this from happening?
Also what are the potential ramifications for the thousands of refugees spilling over borders across Europe?
Mitch spoke with Associate Professor Felix Patrikeeff from the University of Adelaide about the attacks in Brussels and more detail and it’s consequences.
