Growing global demand for Australian cotton

It’s been nothing but good news for the cotton industry as growing consumer demand for sustainable fibres has driven up the demand for Australia’s sustainable cotton crop. It’s a robust $2.5 billion industry with the Aussie crop expected to yield about a million tonnes this year, fetching at least $500 per bale.
