In the lead-up to the next federal election, a powerful group of Australians is taking a stand – one utility bill at a time.

A new report from the not-for-profit group Parents for Climate reveals more than 5 million parents have fallen victim to greenwashing – misleading environmental claims made by companies trying to appear more climate-friendly than they are.

And they’re pushing back: more than half have already switched providers, and many more say they’ll do the same in the coming months.
