Australia and Allies’ 21-day ceasefire proposal rejected by Netanyahu

Israel’s increasing bombardment of Lebanon has put higher pressure on the Australian government to adhere to international law.
Alongside the United States, France and a few others, Australia has called for an immediate 21-day ceasefire across the border of the two countries.
Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz has rejected the call for a ceasefire, while Lebanon’s Prime Minister Najib Mikati has expressed support for the move.
