Should Australia become a republic?

Would you prefer to celebrate the Queen’s birthday or an Australian republic holiday?

In 1999, Australia voted against becoming a republic. But in recent years, there has been growing support for the republican movement.

With so many voters and political leaders supporting the idea of an Australian republic, why are we still part of the monarchy and celebrating the Queen’s birthday?
