Australia Faces Whooping Cough Outbreak

Australia is in the midst of a whooping cough outbreak, with more than 2700 cases recorded in the first 3 months of this year, most of them in Queensland and New South Wales.

Whooping cough is highly contagious, and although adults can contract the illness, children and babies are the most vulnerable.
