Energy Minister Chris Bowen announced Australia is facing a gas crisis, and says the denial and delay of previous energy policies has left the country ill prepared.

But also the weather in the eastern states and the Ukrainian conflict have seen a sharp rise in gas and energy prices. Next week, the energy ministers from all levels of government will meet and start solving the problem.
