Australia should step up on older people’s rights
Today marks the international day of action in support of the Convention on the Rights of Older Persons.
Organisations advocating for older Australians want the Federal government to create and support a UN convention on the rights of this population sector.
With older Australians being more impacted by the pandemic and the stigma around it, a UN convention will help in the long term.
