The final report of the banking royal commission was released on Monday this week. Commissioner Kenneth Hayne’s final report made 76 recommendations designed to prevent the unethical practices revealed over the course of the commission. In the wake of the report’s release, Australian banks have been responding to both the recommendations and the criticism that it contains. To walk us through these responses we spoke to Senior Lecturer in Finance at the University of Sydney, Andrew Grant.
