Australian Building and Construction Commission Re-emergence
Yesterday, the Coalition’s industrial relations bill was passed through the senate which saw the return of the old Australian Building and Construction Commission.
Having been four years since its abolishment, the Howard-era watchdog is back, with many labelling the bill as dismissive towards worker’s rights.
Tim Ayres, NSW secretary of the Australian Manufacturing Workers’ Union, joined Adrian Walton in the studio to explain more about the ABCC’s return.
