Australian Council of Trade Unions Calls for Decrease in Temporary Workers
The Australian Council of Trade Unions has recently called for a reduction in the number of temporary migrants being awarded temporary worker visas.
They say this is because there is a pre-existing pool of permanent residents who required jobs, and temporary workers currently have less protections than their permanent counterparts.
