Australian cult films at Vivid 2017
Festival goers have much to look forward to at this year’s King Cross debut in the 2017 Vivid Festival, with music, theatre, events and even a lineup of Australia’s finest cult films.
Jay Katz, the curator of Cult Sinema Australiana joins Nic on the show to discuss the selections of cult films to be examined, including classics such as The Man from Hong Kong, Pandemonium—which actually features Vivid Festival Director Ignatius Jones—and even the almost lost classic Wake in Fright.
Each screening will be followed with intimate discussions with special guests, including film critics, actors, and directors.
