Schools Urged to Get Educated About Epilepsy
Despite nearly one in 200 students having epilepsy in Australia, less than five percent of schools and teachers received any epilepsy-specific training.
With epilepsy ranked in the top three health conditions affecting school children, symptoms including incurring a sudden loss of consciousness, and convulsions, have both parents and organisations urging Australia’s schools to take action.
