Australians with disability face the housing crisis silently

A recent study from the Australian Institute of health and welfare reveals a concerning situation for people with disabilities,
showing that only six percent of those facing homelessness or its risk have access to the long-term housing they need.
This comes at a time when demand for social housing is high, and accessibility and affordability remain significant challenges, as highlighted by recent advocacy efforts from the Disability Royal Commission and NDIS review.
