Australia’s Absence at the UN Climate Action Summit

2019’s UN Climate Action Summit was held in the US recently, however, Australia’s representative and Prime Minister, Scott Morrison, failed to show up, despite being in the US at the time. Trump himself, showed up for a short amount of time then disappeared. The Summit focused around higher targets to be set in order to fight accelerated rate of Climate Changes. Scott Morrison has said the Australia only represents 1.5% of global emissions and does not need to set any targets to reduce that number.
